I think what you are referring to is the ACCPAC Plus add-on called EIS Inventory Tools, and the developer's name is Rick Lee. However, I don't know of anyone who has heard from Rick in 20 years.
Whether there is a similar module for Sage 300 is a question for the Sage 300 forum, but I'd be shocked if the function wasn't built into Inventory, like it is for Adagio.
