Currently using ACCPAC 6.0 and bank reconciliation is giving errors when attempting to post bank reconciliation. The error is "The requested payment not found". Using MSSQL database. Please advise if this is damage data or orphan records. Data Integrity returns no errors. How to fix?
I would recommend running a Data Integrity report from within ACCPAC (Accounting > Reports > Data Integrity). This will tell us if there are any orphan records or other errors in our database that might prevent us from posting the payment successfully. If there are no orphan records or other errors reported by data integrity, then we can start looking at how our account is set up in general. As far as I know, there isn't much to do here other than making sure that all fields are being used properly and that no one has accidentally deleted a field or two without realizing it (which could happen if someone accidentally deletes an entire account record and not just part of it).
