Hi, we are running PLUS 6.5A SA and Adagio 6.8B. Last week we encountered a small GL problem and corrected from a B/U. In the meantime, the restore did not fully bring back our Sales Analysis data. We can restore from the BU of last week but will have a small hole of 3 days in our SA data. Is there a way to import from OE 6.5A. Thanks Gary

There were two SalesAnalysis versions in the ACCPAC DOS world - Plus SA and Softrak SA. If you are using ACCPAC Plus SA, then no. If Softrak SA, then you can re-retrieve from OE.

There is a way to import transactions from a CSV or Lotus file into Plus SA, but it's hardly intuitive and then there's the work involved in getting it out of OE to CSV.

If you are stuck, I have other ideas - contact me at steve@sschwartzcpa.com

Hi Steve, it is SA6.5A by Softrak 990626. The info was initially retrieved but lost in the restore.
Thx

Just so you know, we call that one SR rather than SA (because that's the first two letters of the data files).

I don't have that program loaded but I seem to remember that you can re-retrieve using a different menu option.

Feel free to call me at 610-896-8345 and I can step you through it.

Hi Steve, I just looked at the options and think this is the order
3. Maintain SR Data
1. Retrieve Sales Data
3. Scan from other system
3. Scan Accpac O.E.
Edit the date range (data that is missing)

I'll try with a B/U dataset and see if does the trick.
If data does not come in the SR then I'll give you a call either today or mid next week. I'm in Vancouver and believe we're 3 hrs apart. Thanks for your help
