I have exported from GL Accounts into Excel and edited the spreadsheet to add more records. Then when I try to import back, I get the message:

1. Description: Too many fields defined.
2. Description: Stopped processing at record 0 in Accounts.

How do I resolve this problem?

Start again, do not export all fields.

To fix too many fields defined error in Access database, you must try the following fixes:

1: Compact Your Database
2: Create A Fresh Copy Of Access Table
3: Pass-Through Query
4: Set Other Field Properties
5: Change A Field’s Data Type

To know how to perform these fixes just check out the following blogs:

Why are you replying to a bloody 6-year old thread you know nothing about?

1. That will do nothing
2. That will do nothing
3. Can't be done with Sage
4. Can't be done
5. Can't be done
